HYPEBEAST drove the Maserati MC20 in 2021 ahead of its launch, praising the Italian company’s latest supercar as “a thinking man’s supercar that’s part sculpture, part engineering marvel, and entirely joy to drive.” While we love it, it seems others who have already gotten their hands on the limited-run model are seeing the MC20 in a different light, positioning it as a good investment.
While few are on the road as of this writing, a brand new MC20 has just landed on auction site Bring a Trailer. Showing just 86 miles, the car has barely been driven, meaning the next owner will be able to experience the car’s twin-turbocharged three-litre V6 in all its glory. This engine produces 621 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque, which translates to a 2.9-second 0-62 mph sprint and a top speed of 202 mph, all driven exclusively by the rear wheels.
This particular example is stunningly thin, finished in “Nero Enigma” with a black grille and “Dark” lower accents alongside a set of optional 20-inch “Corsa” wheels tinted in “Matte Dark Miron”. Optional carbon-ceramic brakes with blue Brembo calipers also appear, contrasting with the black and red interior.
When new, the MC20 costs just over US$250,000. At the time of writing, bidding on this example is already at $280,000 with eight days remaining. Take a closer look at the car above and learn more about Bat.
